Syntune — Integrating Tunability
Wavelength agility significantly reduces the operational cost of optical networks by providing increased flexibility, scalability, and simplicity. Syntune's tunable lasers and transmitters bring wavelength agility to the transmit side of the network at little or no extra cost compared to fixed wavelength solutions, especially when sparing and inventories are taken into account. Moreover, Syntune's reliable integrated chip platform allows users to increase density and reduce power consumption, while maintaining the fastest tuning speeds commercially available.
In other applications, including gas spectroscopy, fiber-optic sensor interrogation, and optical component test & measurement, Syntune's lasers allow spectral measurements to be made at rates unmatched by existing solutions.
